PAPME MEMBERS:
A Call for Artists press release was recently issued by the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust in support of its 12th Annual Paint for Preservation Wet Paint Auction on June 30, 2019.
"We are seeking plein air artists working in all mediums and from all areas to participate in this premier event."
"We are seeking plein air artists working in all mediums and from all areas to participate in this premier event."
Artist entries will be juried by Anne Zill, director emerita of the University of New England Art Gallery and an independent art curator.
This year, artists will have the opportunity to paint on location in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, over a three-day period from Friday June 28 through Sunday June 30, preceding the wet paint auction. On Sunday, the newly painted artwork will be auctioned live at a festive cocktail reception held at a stunning seaside home in Cape Elizabeth. The auction regularly attracts 400 or more guests.
We hope that you will share this information with any plein air artists you work with, and list it in any advertising vehicles you may use. You may visit CELT’s website for further details and entry instructions. www.capelandtrust.org
We look forward to receiving entries from a wide array of artists. If you have any questions, please contact me.
